Mr. Nicewonger, Alum of ISU, is Executive Experience Consultant for Magic Carpet Travel. Nicewonger also graduated from Lincoln College's Normal campus with an Applied Science Degree in Travel and Tourism. He is also a graduate of Disney's College of Knowledge, holds numerous industry Specialist certificates, including authorized TTI Destination Specialist, and is always enrolled in further training. As the "senior" Scoutmaster of Crossroads District, BSA, he has organized and led over 850 trips and outings, including many intermodal two-week touring camp trips.
 

More recently, his focus has been learning everything he can to be the best East Asian Specialist in the area. He works with many Asian government tourist organizations, tour companies, and airlines. He has especially enjoyed his tours in China and Korea. He is the only area specialist to attend the American Society of Travel Agents' annual exposition, which was held on Jeju Island, South Korea in March, 2007.  Regular attendance at ASTA National and Midwest training meetings and seminars and many supplier and industry shows keeps Nicewonger on the cutting edge of advances in travel services.  Nicewonger enjoys his learning experiences at the Korean Academy of Language and Culture in Normal and special events at the Korean Cultural Center in Champaign.
